FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PREMIERE SEPT. 24 A Chicago Burb man is the latest Chicago area resident to land a spot on a TV dating show. Connor will compete in Are You the One?, an MTV reality series that follows 10 men and 10 women trying to find romance with one another while they live together in Hawaii, according to the show’s website. If everyone couples up by the end of the season, the entire cast shares in a $1 million prize. Connor’s show bio describes him as a “gentle giant” and someone whose “high energy and big ambitions often leave women in the dust.” Or maybe they’re just hypnotized by those perfectly cut pecs, elegantly inked shoulders and exquisitely chiseled abs that women forget they’re attached to a JSAI fitness model and personal trainer who just wants to find the perfect match. Here are some other facts you should know about Connor before the show’s new season begins Sept. 24: Connors’s physical training background has led him to compete in National Physique Committee bodybuilding events, including last year’s Midwest Ironman competition. His physique will adorn the cover to Davida Lynn’s new novel, Outlaw Country. He has a cat named Bert Reynolds, according to his Instagram page. You can follow him on Twitter, where he’s been posting updates and videos from the show. Connor adds his name to the list of suburban men who have been popping up lately on TV dating shows. Recently, The Bachelor TV franchise has featured a handful of contestants with ties to the Chicago area.
